Project Details

Sarah Avrick was launched in September 2020. She is the second of four new ASD-90 tugs ordered by Foss Maritime and built by Nichols Brothers.
 
Sarah Avrick is operated by AMNAV while her sister tugs, Jamie Ann, Leisa Florence and Rachael Allen operate under the Foss banner.
 
We were pleased to be a part of this project and provide identical power generation for all four tugs.

Specifications

  • MGP65-KT1, 65kW BOLLARD™ Sound Enclosure installed for ship power.
  • 2- BOLLARD™, MGP122-KA1 generators set up for a parallel operation to the main buss.
  • Gensets built with John Deere 6068AFM85, IMO 3 compliant engines and Marathon Mariner generator ends.
  • Subchapter M Compliant, built to ABS specifications.
