The MGP104 Tier 3 commercial marine diesel generator delivers full power at exceptionally low winding temperatures. What that means to you is the highest kW per gallon of fuel burn on the market today.

The optional SeaDrive SAE 2 or 3 front Bellhousing and flywheel will deliver up to 150 hp for bow thrusters or auxiliary hydraulics.

Built with John Deere 4045AFM85 engines.

  • John Deere 1800 RPM, EPA/CARB certified Tier 3 marine diesel engines
  • Marathon motor start generator rated 80C/40C for maximum electrical efficiency
  • Dedicated PMG excitation with 300% short circuit protection and VFD compatibility
  • Digital parallelable automatic voltage regulator – .25% voltage regulation no load to full load
  • Remote start digital control panel with J1939 diagnostics and 3′ extension harness
  • Automatic safety shutdowns for low oil pressure, high water temp and over speed
  • Structural steel welded base frame with vertical and horizontal gusset supports
  • Coast Guard approved JIC fuel supply and return line fittings installed
  • Isoflex™ anti-vibration mounts between engine/generator and base frame
  • Closed crankcase engine ventilation filter system
  • Dry element cleanable combination air intake filter/intake silencer
  • Dry exhaust elbow with mating flange, high temperature gasket and stainless hardware
  • Coolant recovery bottle
  • Starter and alternator 12V std on 40kW-150kW, 24V std 200kW-385kW
  • Imron™ two-part epoxy marine paint for maximum corrosion protection
  • Stainless steel fasteners and powder coated accessory brackets
  • All generators are calibrated, and load tested under full load before shipment
  • Single phase 4 wire generators are oversized to allow full load single phase output 105/40c @ 1.0PF
  • Three phase generators are 12 lead reconnectable voltage, 50Hz or 60HZ
  • Heat exchanger cooled engines include bronze gear driven raw water pumps and Cu/Ni HE cores
  • Stainless steel water injected exhaust elbows are Included with HE cooled engines
